“The musical tradition of the universal Church is a treasure of inestimable value, greater even than that of any other art.” – Catechism of the Catholic Church
The members of our Music Ministry provide liturgical music for all Masses and during special events and services – such as weddings, funerals, First Communion and Confirmation. Our very active ministry consists of:
- Two adult choirs
- Children’s Choir
- Youth Group
- Bell Choir
- Liturgy Leader
- School Choir Instrumentalists
What’s in it for me?
- Communal camaraderie, faith sharing and spiritual growth
- A sense of belonging
- A place to actively express your gifts and talents
- Friendly gatherings
New singers and instrumentalists are always welcome.
Please Contact: Debbie Mangione, Director of Liturgy and Music, at 219-322-4505 extension 227.
“Bach gave us God’s Word.
Mozart gave us God’s laughter.
Beethoven gave us God’s fire.
God gave us Music
that we might pray
with more than words.”
